Configure Quick Brick Mobile Side Menu

Introduction

The Side Menu is a navigation method in an app, displayed in an app when the menu icon in the App Nav Bar is selected.

Go to the navigation section of UI Builder

Check for the Quick Brick Side Menu

If it is not available got to <Add Navigation>

And selected the QB Side Menu.

Note: Do not use the Applicaster Side Menu - that is for legacy Native apps

If it is not available then the plugin needs adding via the plugin manager.

Once available in your app and selected in UI Builder it can be styled as follows

Styles	Background Color	Set the background color for the whole Side Menu
	Item Background Color	Set the background color for all the entries in the Side Menu
	Selected Item Background Color	Set the background color for a side menu entry when it is delected
	Title Color	Set the color for text in the side menu
	Title Selected Color	Set the color for text when a specific entry in the side menu is selected
	iOS Font and Android Font	Configure the fonts for iOS and Android devices for not selected / selected states Font Size
	Border color	Place a border around each entry in the side menu
	Separation Line Margin and Color	Define the separation line between each entry in the side menu
	Discard screen state	Turn this option on only if your app has a lot of menu items and you have experienced high memory consumption on the device. This option will recreate the screen each time you navigate to a new screen.
Assets	Arrow	Places an arrow on the right of each entry in the side menu PNG 63px x 63px
	Expandable Icon	2nd level side menu not available yet
	Expanded Icon	2nd level side menu not available yet

Select ADD ITEM to add a side menu entry and attach it to a screen

Name the entry at the top - this will appear in the side menu

Set the target screen

Upload an icon NOTE: Only "ICON" supported. "ICON Selected" state is not supported.
