Quick Brick Player Plugin for TV
Introduction
The Quick Brick Player Plugin is a mandatory plugin for these platforms
- tvOS
- Android TV
- Amazon Fire TV
- Samsung
- LG
It is Not required for Roku.
The plugin wraps all the management of the various platform players under one plugin:

Android TV and Amazon Fire TV Exoplayer customisation
Within the QB Player Plugin on Android and Amazon only it is possible to
- control the color settings of the default icons
- upload custom icons and control their color settings
- control the text in the video player
- control the audio player presentation
The following parameters can be entered in the Quick Brick Player Plugin manifest or in UI Builder when the plugin is added (select plugins, then Quick Brick Player Plugin). UI Builder will over-ride any manifest settings.

Upload custom icons to use for the following player buttons
Upload format for each icon is .png. There is no technical size restriction on the assets except what looks sensible on screen. Upload must be the following folder structure with the appropriate pngs in the folder drawable-hdpi/ icon.png Background.png |

When using the audio player plugin with Android and Amazon these control the color (or image) of the background, title and summary color, RTL support. Note the aspect ratio setting selects the masking area around the program artwork and so needs to match the artwork aspect ratio being supplied in the DSP |

When parameters have been set be sure to press Save in the plugin manifest or in UI builder this is the Android icon at the top of the right hand panel when editing these parameters.
